Develop policies and procedures related to the regulations and use of computer hardware, software, and other technical resources in the GU-SON. Make recommendations to the Dean regarding the purchase of computer hardware, software, and technical resources, distribution and utilization of these resources, and for faculty development in the use of new and developing technologies for education, research, and service. Make recommendations to the curriculum committee regarding the integration of nursing science, computer science, and information science into the curriculum.  Develop a long term plan which provides for maintaining current technological resources.

Issues related to the recruitment, admission, retention, progression, graduation and academic integrity of graduate nursing students.  Review & revise academic policies & procedures. Maintain current Graduate Student Handbook. Monitor rights and responsibilities of graduate students in relation to academic issues, including grievances. Review and take action on faculty concerns, student petitions for readmission or exception to admission or progression policies. All deliberations related to student issues are strictly confidential and are not available for student input or comment.
