My name is Jordan Buell, and I am the secondary principal at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Jr/Sr High School. 

We are seeking applicants for openings in high school Math and Social Studies at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Junior/Senior High School. We are excited to connect with educators who are passionate about supporting students and building strong community relationships. 

EBF Jr/Sr High School is located in Eddyville, Iowa—part of a close-knit rural district that also includes the communities of Blakesburg and Fremont. The area offers a quiet, family-friendly atmosphere with access to outdoor recreation such as hunting, fishing, and camping. We're also just a short drive from larger towns like Ottumwa, Oskaloosa, and Pella, which provide additional amenities, entertainment, and cultural opportunities.

Job Summary:
Clarinda Community School District is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities, ensuring they have access to a high-quality education tailored to their unique needs.
Essential Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, staff, and support professionals.
● Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
● Provide direct instruction and support to students in both individual and small group settings.
● Utilize research-based instructional strategies to promote student growth and achievement.
● Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
● Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement and learning.
● Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student development.
● Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to ensure student success.
● Implement behavior intervention strategies as needed.
● Stay current with best practices and professional development opportunities in special education.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field.
● Valid Iowa teaching license with appropriate Special Education endorsements.
● Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
● Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
● Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and instructional strategies.
● Knowledge of special education laws, policies, and best practices.

North Kansas City Hiring Fairs

North Kansas City school is hosting several hiring fairs for 2025 at our Professional Development Center on Saturday, April 12th.  We are hiring for all positions for the 2025-26 school year and will conduct interviews for specific positions and hiring for our pool. If you have recent December graduates, we hire for long-term substitutes and positions where our enrollment has increased since the first semester.
