SafeRide and SafeWalk

SafeRide is a student-operated program sponsored by Campus Ministries offering students a safe ride to campus or other place of safety. This service is FREE, SAFE and CONFIDENTIAL and is available on Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. during each academic semester. To request a ride, please call 641.784.LIFT (5438). Service is contingent on availability of Graceland-owned vehicles and student employee availability.
 
SafeWalk is a student-operated service sponsored by Campus Ministries offering a student companions to walk across campus at night Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8 p.m. to Midnight. To request the service, please call 641.784.5438. Service is contingent on student employee availability. 

SafeTravel - Medically Related Transportation

SafeTravel operated by Campus Ministries is a service for students needing medically related transportation in Lamoni, Osceola, or Des Moines. The service, when fully staffed, operates from Noon to 8 PM, Monday through Friday. To arranged transportation, please contact the coordinator at least three days in advanced. It cannot operate weekday mornings or weekends. Service is contingent on the availability of student employees and Graceland-owned vehicles.

 
           

Saturday Shuttle

The Saturday Shuttle operates most Saturdays during the semester in and around Lamoni 10 AM to 2 PM. It is designed to take students shopping in the community. No reservations are necessary. The shuttle picks up students at the Circle Drive and runs a route around Lamoni and back. Questions? Please inquire at the Student Help Desk in the Newcom Student Union. Service is contingent on availability of student employees and Graceland-owned vehicles. 

GUAlert is an emergency notification system that will send a text message to a cell phone or an email to an email address when there is an emergency that needs to be quickly announced to a campus.  Messages are sent only in the event of a crisis. Graceland encourages all employees, students and faculty to enter their cell phone number or email address to receive these notices.
