Online Course Sharing

Need to get ahead in your coursework or improve your grade point average? Graceland University provides student access to a variety of flexible online courses through Acadeum, a consortium of accredited colleges and universities that share online course offers.  Specific courses offered through the consortium have been pre-approved and mapped to Graceland University course equivalents, which means that consortium courses may count toward major, essential education, or elective requirements. A course taken through this consortium is considered institutional credit and will impact your grade-point average just like a Graceland University course.

FEE

A $100 Consortium Fee will be charged per each online consortium course. This fee is in addition to the tuition cost of the course.

FINANCIAL AID

Students may use financial aid to pay for consortium courses if funds are available. Contact your Financial Advisor to discuss your options.  These courses do not qualify for VA benefits.

REGISTRATION

Students must click the link, sign up for an account using their Graceland Sting student email, verify their student email, and register for pre-approved courses.  Please note that all registrations are still dependent on Graceland University approval on a student-by-student basis.  You will be notified when your request to register for a consortium course is approved or denied. Student who need to take a consortium course that is not on the pre-approved list, can email registrar@graceland.edu to request an equivalency evaluation and work with their academic advisor to receive approval at least a week prior to the course start date to allow for processing time.

BILLING/PAYMENT PLANS

The Consortium Tuition and the Consortium Fee will be charged to your Graceland student account. Payment for your consortium course is due on the first day of the course. Contact your Financial Advisor to set up payment arrangements. You can view your student account on My Graceland.

DROP/WITHDRAW

If you wish to drop or withdraw from a consortium course please email the Registrar's Office at registrar@graceland. Do not contact the teaching institution directly.  The add/drop and withdrawal dates for consortium courses will differ from Graceland's deadlines.
