Orientation is very important in helping you to adjust to a new environment and culture.
You will learn about the resources in Lamoni, Iowa and Graceland University that will help you during your time as a student. You will learn the very important immigration regulations that you need to follow while in the USA.
We will be getting to know each other and having fun!

NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION
In addition to the Graceland University Orientation Schedule, you will be expected to attend the following International Student Orientation sessions. Please plan to bring all travel documents to your first session. Diana Jones, Director of International Programs, coordinates your orientation. Her office telephone number is 641.784.5412. Please be punctual when attending sessions. For assistance in finding the meeting locations call 641.784.5412, ask a residence hall director, or your house president.

Arrive at the Success Studio (Lower Level of Library)
Bring your passport, I-20, I-94, Immunization Records, and Health Records
We will help you- Get ID photo, GU campus mailbox combinations, complete student work forms, pay for school
11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Lunch in the commons
1:30 p.m. Understanding Immigration Regulations & GU Culture
Success Studio
3:00 p.m. US Banking (Bring Passport, I-20, campus mailbox number, and money if you'd like to open an account)
Lamoni Tour & Campus Tour (If time after Banking)
5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Dinner in Commons
6:30 p.m. Ice Cream & Games at "Uncle Larry's" -Meet at Intercultural Office
