Issue

Occasionally you will need to redo your credentials in Cognos. You will get the following message and reports won't run:

When this happens follow the steps below.

Fix

1) Click the Personal Menu at the top right, and then select My Preferences

 

2) Click the Personal Tab, click Advanced, and then click "Manage" next to Data server credentials

 

3) Click the Minus sign to the right of CX (you will have to hover over it to see it)

 

4) Run a Report again, and you will need to enter your CX/Uniface Username and Password. Check the box to store the new credential
